ERT SAR Operational Specialist and Special Projects Team Member (MOBLAT) Justin is trained in Technical Rescue including • High Angle Rope Rescue • Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) and • Flood and Swiftwater Rescue as well as medically trained in several disciplines such as First Person on Scene, Medical Gases Administration (Oxygen and Entonox) and the use of a heart defibrillator. Justin has been an Operational member for 11 years with several international missions and deployments under his belt including the massive floods in Pakistan and the Superstorm Yolanda or correctly assigned, Typhoon Haiyan. |
Justin Levine is a senior and experienced member of ERT SAR and served as an ERT SAR Commander in the UK for 7 years. With a penchant for adventure, in ERT SAR he has deployed in +50 deg C Pakistan flood disaster and also one of the few to come and trained artic survival in – 30 deg C in Canada.
During his Command tenure, he initiated many programs and launched several initiatives to improve the systems within the team. He has deployed several times with ERT SAR.
In ERT SAR he also manages many of the IT functions and internet base web updates as well as many of the annual events.
He is trained as a Tech. Rescue Instructor in High Angle Rope Rescue and DEFRA Compliant trained Swift and Flood Water Rescue Operations (Mod 3 & 4) as well as NFPA / INSARAG Compliant USAR / Collapsed Structure SAR.
He also actively trains and studies Rescue and complementary subjects to constantly improve his knowledge and skills – whether he’s doing Green Laning or Off Roading or wilderness survival bushcraft. He exercises regularly, weight trains to keep fit and operationally strong and enjoys training in the Martial Arts.
During the day he works for a major London City Financial Company as a Team Manager.
