Martin Blaker
Martin Blaker is our ERT SAR Marine and Flood Rescue Specialist Currently employed by the Government in the Resilience Role. He is the former RNLI Area Lifesaving manager & Flood Response Advisor He is a specialist advisor to the Government and Fire Services. Martin Blaker is a highly experienced and qualified Marine Operator and highly valued Operational Member of ERTSAR. |
He was the Area Lifesaving Manager for the RNLI responsible for the assets in West Wales, these assets including all the lifeboat stations, all of the lifeguarded beaches, all of the flood rescue delivery and all of the coastal safety initiatives, and the line management of about 600 volunteers.
He has had a variety of different posts in the emergency response community and as a specialist in the water rescue community as well as being awarded a RNLI gallantry medal, Pride of Britain award and most recently the Internationally recognised Higgins and Langley Award.
