We have been based in Henley on Thames since 2002. (We started with the name Oxfordshire Search and Rescue but added the Emergency Response Team to not limit our work to only Search and Rescue but other forms of life saving disaster and medical work as well as resilience and capacity building. )
We are closely attuned our local needs and sensitive to what is happening in our local communities. We live here. We work here. We are based and volunteer here. So, we are able to locally respond here. We have been here almost 20 years. Please Support us! :-) |

ERT SAR are a Flood Response Team & on the UK's DEFRA Asset List
ERT SAR is the ONLY combined Type B and Type C DEFRA / Government recognised Flood Response Water Rescue Teams in the area.

ERT SAR is an Urban Search and Rescue (Collapsed Structure SAR) team. (Unclassified Medium Team coordinated by the UN)
