"Hug-A-Tree"
In 1992 to 2000 in Canada Gary and Virginia would offer the "Hug a Tree" program in Canada as a part of the Police Charter / Philosopher and Warrior training course and Public Safety Services (via the RCMP / MNR program). This was especially good for missing children in austere and remote areas. By 2004, we (OSAR / ERTSAR) launched our first "ChildSafe" programme for youths and children in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, England. This program was excellently received taught schools, parents and children ways to keep children safe and avoid getting lost and what to do if you did get lost. This program was significantly enhanced from the early days and dealt with additional hazards and environments from "Water Safety" to "School Bullying" to "Cyber and Online
We now plan to license this course and will be making more information here on these details of this program here in 2021 / 22.
